Cruise will be in the city for two days. At the moment, the plans do not include wife Katie Holmes and their daughter Suri. He will be travelling with a very basic entourage . The leading lady of the film, Paula Patton, will also be travelling with the star.
The actor will stay at a suburban five star hotel and Paramount security will arrive a few days earlier to take care of the security arrangements.

The worldwide release is on December 16, while moviegoers in India will see it on December 5. The actor will be in the city for two days and then head to Dubai for the world premiere, on December 7. Cruise won't have any time to head to any other destination in the city, as he will be on a very tight schedule. He might attend some events for products he endorses though.
The film has another connect to India, apart from Anil Kapoor. The official trailer of the film shows Cruise and his co-star Paula Patton walking into a glamorous Indian palace, which could be straight out of Rajasthan.
