Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna, who got fame with her Lakshmi Talk Show, entered into the Telugu film industry with the film "Anaganaga O Dheerudu". In that film she played the negative role. Now she is acting in a Hindi film "Department" in the direction of Ram Gopal Varma. She is also set to do female lead role in a bilingual film titled Gundello Godari, which is going to start soon.

She Tweeted "Ok..phew.. I just signed a movie w Manirathnam. My first Tamil film. He is the first man who influenced me 2 b in films.Dreams do come true".
Now she is making waves in other films also apart from Telugu.
